Xe Consumer Gift Card Promotion Terms and Conditions

This competition is promoted by HiFX Limited if you are a New Zealand consumer customer, and HiFX Australia Pty Ltd if you are an Australian consumer customer (both entities trading as “Xe”) and is open to any Xe consumer customer in Australia and New Zealand who enters the draw in accordance with these terms (Competition). The Competition is not open to Xe’s corporate customers, employees of Xe, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the Competition.

2. The prize is a Digital Prezzy Gift Card valued at $1,000 NZD for New Zealand customers, and 2 x $500 AUD Digital Visa Gift Cards (total value of $1,000 AUD) for Australian customers (Prize). The Prize is valid until the expiry date specified on the gift card by the supplier of the gift card (i.e., Visa in Australia or Prezzy in New Zealand). The Prize is not transferable and is subject to Visa and/or Prezzy’s terms and conditions, as applicable. Xe is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any Winner arising from or in connection with the Prize and Xe will not be responsible for any Prize that is lost or stolen.

3. You will automatically be entered into the Competition when you make a spot trade with Xe valued over $3,000 AUD if you are an Australian consumer customer or over $3,000 NZD if you are a New Zealand consumer customer. A ‘spot trade’ is a trade forming part of Xe’s services where the settlement date is within 2 (two) business days of Xe accepting a request by you to enter into a trade.

4. The Competition is open from 9am AEST on Sunday 1 June 2025 and closes at 5pm AEST on Monday 30 June 2025 (Competition Period). All trades must be made before this date and time to be eligible for the Prize.

5. A winner will be chosen by random draw on Thursday 3 July 2025 (Prize Draw Date) and will be notified by email or telephone using the contact details associated with your Xe account within seven (7) days after the Prize Draw Date (Winner). Should your contact details change during the Competition Period, it is your responsibility to notify Xe. If the Winner does not respond to Xe within three (3) months after being notified by Xe, then the Winner’s Prize will be forfeited and Xe will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above. Prizes will be delivered, paid or transferred to the Winner within 28 days after the Prize Draw Date.

6. In the event the Prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond Xe’s control, Xe may substitute a prize with a prize of equal or greater value subject to any direction from a regulatory authority.

7. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. Xe reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

8. Xe reserves the right to withdraw or modify the Competition at any time, unless otherwise prohibited by law. Xe’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. Xe reserves the right to disqualify any individual who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, or who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this Competition, has breached any of these terms and conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition. In the event that a Winner breaches these terms and conditions, the Winner will forfeit the Prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. Failure by Xe to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

9. All trades are governed by Xe’s Australian T&Cs if you are an Australian customer (available here), and Xe’s New Zealand T&Cs if you are a New Zealand customer (available here).

10. The Competition will be governed by the laws of New Zealand if you are a New Zealand customer and New South Wales, Australia if you are an Australian customer. Entrants of the Competition submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand and New South Wales, Australia, as applicable.
